I can't give a guaranteed time on when that will be released as they never give a set date (because they want people to pre order the game). There will be collectibles in those extra scenes. You will be able to play as the 2nd character in scenes where you had someone with you, and have additional chapters when the characters are separated. With a co op partner you can do the final partial playthrough and have your partner host, allowing you to play the scenes offered in the curators cut that are not available in solo story/as host in a co op session.
